Are You Interested in Yoga?

Body Fuel Yoga blends the ancient principles and practices of yoga with mobility and meditation in a way that is both completely authentic and relevant to the lives and needs of modern people.

My practice of yoga helps cultivate internal peace, clarity of mind with a greater sense of self-awareness and consciousness, stronger, more flexible, and supple bodies that are less prone to injury and illness.

Sometimes I feel like the Yoga mat has become a sort of impulsive New Age status symbol. Suggesting that if you practice or attend yoga classes that you are automatically fit, environmentally aware, and enlightened. For my clients, it is about getting curious back and forth in their own bodies and how they can move their bodies in ways that feel freeing, opening, and healing. Oftentimes I will throw in some thought evoking questions to ponder throughout sessions, as I am just a curious person by nature and love to invite people into that same celebration.

My passion for yoga recoils when the word “Yoga” itself is attached or imbued into the diet industry. I’ve attended classes where “yoga” is practiced solely for its calorie-burning effects, over the meditative benefits that can be taken off the yoga mat and into the real world to build resilience, gratitude, and empathy.

If you are curious enough, you can gradually become the best-equipped person to understand the unique mechanics of your body and how to alleviate sore muscles and mental and physical chronic pain.
