I'm deeply grateful for the incredible gift my mother bestowed upon me. She never sought to impose her own perspectives on life; instead, she instilled in me an unwavering belief – that I possessed the capability to accomplish anything and everything.
I'm really tired of the campaign to move closer to eating and existing as our ancestors did. We live in a society where it is impossible to eat let alone to live as our ancestors lived.
There’s a lot of confusion. But there is light out there, you may just need to find the right guide for you.
Protein is my priority for breakfast during my luteal phase of the menstrual as to keep my mental and physical energy sustained until my next meal 🥣
For Lacto-fermentation, firm vegetables, such as beets and turnips, are best. I’ve found the softer vegetables, such as tomatoes and cucumbers, can be more challenging.
Warning ⚠, when fermented, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and other "gassy" foods produce a strong odor, it's best to blend them with other vegetables to avoid this perfuming of your kitchen 😉
The practical solutions have probably already been pointed out to you; Ditch it, delegate it, or do it yourself in the most effective way. So many sensible suggestions but they are so hard to put into practice …
“The meal is what the meal is and you can eat a tone or a bite”. To be able to trust their bodies, our children have to be able to trust their appetite - at meals and with the inclusion of snacks. Many adults haven't been allowed to go through this process and are now struggling because of it.
Point Me to the research that shows that drinking juice, instead of chewing, will help your organs do their jobs better? I’ll argue that our bodies were designed to chew. And personally, I feel more full and more satisfied from chewing than from drinking 🍏 🥤
In reality, half the population are overindulging and the other half are on a diet. We overindulge, choose the wrong foods, we’re less active, and let stress and anxiety take over our lives. So, why are we not taking care of ourselves? Why are we overweight, ill, and struggling every day?
